About Leah
My Philosophy
It is not me that heals but my clients who can tap into their innate healing abilities. This allows for them to come into harmony with their truest potential in all facets of life.
When I was young, I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease in my spine. After experiencing back pain for most of my life, I decided to have back surgery when I was 27. Soon after the surgery, I visited a massage therapist, and in addition to massage techniques, the therapist started using Reiki on me. It was amazing. The combination of massage and Reiki helped me with my back pain and helped me recover more quickly from my surgery. I was skeptical about Reiki at first, but as my experiences progressed, I wanted to learn more.
After the sessions that I had with my massage therapist, I decided to find a Reiki healer who lived near me. In just a few sessions with her, I was hooked. With Reiki, I felt a fluidity and spontaneity that is both beautiful and supportive. Then after finding out how much Reiki helped me, I thought about learning it so that I could use it with my kids, family, and friends. So I made the decision to take some classes from my Reiki healer, and that became the start of my journey to become a Reiki practitioner and teacher.
I first started receiving Reiki in 2014 and now I am a registered Reiki Association member, master, and teacher. I am also a registered Karuna Holy Fire III ® Reiki Master practitioner and I am certified to teach Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki I & II and ART/Usui Holy Fire® Reiki Master classes. I approach Reiki with healing grace and compassion. I am very intuitive, so I can help you get specific energy readings while in my sessions and classes. After working with me, you will be able to make better choices that will support your overall well-being and happiness. Over the years, I have felt Reiki’s benefits in so many ways, and this is what I would like to pass on to my clients.
